People

We believe in cooperation, and working for the benefit of our communities. Our cities are flooding. Our planet is burning. We need to act to the best of our abilities, to come together in the fight for climate and social justice in Ireland, and beyond.

Cllr Lorna Bogue

Cllr Lorna Bogue

Lorna is a city councillor representing Cork City South-East on Cork City Council since 2019. She holds a masters in economic analysis and has previously worked in call centres for multinational companies and financial services - giving her a very clear insight into the precarious work conditions, poor pay and exploitative practices of these companies.

John Paul Murphy

John Paul Murphy

John Paul is a junior doctor with a background in construction, and has seen the results of our failed financial regulators and now our failed healthcare system, where workers fight every day for their patients in a system that is chronically mismanaged, understaffed and failing to adapt to modern technology, leaving patients - including children and the disabled - behind, despite massive spending.

Barry O'Donovan

Barry O'Donovan

Barry is living with his family in East Clare. He works as the Network Manager for a Wireless Internet Service Provider and is a member of the Management Committee of the East Clare Community Co-op.

Barry believes passionately that while the future is uncertain and potentially difficult, by making the right choices now we can prepare for it and improve our current quality of life. There are no futures which will not involve radical change but we can choose a radically better future if we are brave and kind to each other.
